Even the Wacom Penabled tech inside my HP tm2 has 512 levels (although I had to track down a third-party stylus to take full advantage of it,) which I find just adequate for most design and drawing situations. the Surface Pro 3's 256 levels using Ntrig-that's a huge difference. The Wacom Cintiq Companion has 2048 levels of pressure vs. Really miss using gestures in these few programs-it was much more efficient. This works well enough but it's awkward when I'm out, like at a restaurant or coffee shop with limited space to work on. When I started having trouble with newer programs recognizing my Gmote gestures (I think it's because either more programs are becoming true 64-bit or because they're being optimized for Win 8,) I started using a separate Bluetooth mini-keyboard and mouse with the tm2. Yeah, sounds like me and my old tm2 these days. I looked at the wacom but choose the Surface Pro 3 i7 because it had newer technology than the wacom, and runs more software. But for serious animation I am using a wireless keyboard and mouse. Guyon wrote:I am doing my design sitting on the sofa with the n-Trig pen.
